Students of Agricultural Science of WIT – Waterford Institute of Technology had a Field Visit in Castledockrell and Water Quality Lectures on 07th February of 2020. Subjects discussed included water polluting substances, pesticides and their components, nutrients and their utilisation, management and well practices. In loco, students were shown the Chemcatchers in the water and explained their operations, what they can capture and what was actually found there in terms of components of pesticides. One more example of Teagasc and Water Protect Project delivering knowledge and technology.
